I have watched over 100 animes,and out of ALL of them this one is my ALL TIME FAVORITE! this show perfectly balances all the necessary elements that are needed to create an awesome storyline, (adventure,romance,comedy,emotional moments,action, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, awesome characters). Characters are what makes the show. You can relate to the emotions being tossed around in a show just fine and it makes it better,but, if the emotions that you feel come from the characters themselves and are centered around them, then you as a person can relate to it a lot more strongly. Inuyasha does this perfectly, as well as adding in all the other elements mentioned above and mixing them brilliantly into the storyline.

other major good points about inuyasha are...

#1. the comedy is side splitting and non-stop yet at the same time the show is completely serious and deep(i don't know how but they managed to pull it off, but they did.)

#2. there isn't a lot of filler and even when there is filler it still manages to advance the characters and be very entertaining.

#3 this is one of only 3 animes out of over 100 that managed to make me stay up all night watching it numerous times (and no i wasn't obsessed with it, it's just that good)

anyway, to be frank, this show is worthy of the highest praise possible and is my all time favorite show even outside of anime. You will not be disappointed!
